Richard Allen

Richard was born in 1802 in Bolton.

- No Bolton or Dean baptism for Richard who was buried in 1802, so assumed to have died an infant.
  
  John of Blackley Chapel had children baptised from 1792 to 1807, so the Richard baptised 1798 is another John Allen family.

Richard's father was John Allen and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Partington. His paternal grandparents were Richard Allen and Rachel Knowles. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Mary, Rachel, Betty and Ellen. He was the second oldest of the seven known children. He died in 1802 in Bolton. His burial was on October 26th, 1802 in Deane.¹
