Alfred Norman (Norman) Renton 
Alfred Norman, known as Norman, was born in 1885 in Whitehaven, Cumberland, Cumbria, England. Norman's father was John Renton and his mother was Edith Marr. His paternal grandparents were John Renton and Hannah Siddell. He had three sisters named Sybil Colquhoun, Lotsie and Avice Marion Bruce. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
