Beatrice Hewitt 
Beatrice was born in 1882 in North Walsham, Swanton, Norfolk, England. Beatrice's father was Robert Joseph Hewitt and her mother was Charlotte Catherine Girdlestone. Her maternal grandparents were George Girdlestone and Mary Ann Doughty. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Robert, Earnest, James, Agnes, Alice Maud, Lily, Agnes and Matilda Ellen. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
