George Girdlestone 
George was born in 1811 in Holt, Norfolk, England. George's father was William James Girdlestone and his mother was Martha Humphries. His paternal grandparents were Rev William Girdlestone and Anne Balders Browne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles, James, Mary and Charlotte. He was the oldest of the five children. He died about 1865.-
