Charles Girdlestone 
Charles was born in 1814 in Holt, Norfolk, England. Charles' father was William James Girdlestone and his mother was Martha Humphries. His paternal grandparents were Rev William Girdlestone and Anne Balders Browne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, James, Mary and Charlotte. He was the second oldest of the five children.-
