Joseph Yates (COOKSON) Dod 
Joseph Yates (COOKSON) was born on December 3rd, 1801 in Jamaica, WI. Joseph Yates (COOKSON)'s father was Charles Norris Cookson and his mother was Mary Margaret Weir. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cookson and Sarah Hull; his maternal grandparents were Thomas (William) Weir and Mary Yates. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Robert, George Yates, George James, Charles, Elizabeth Sarah, Mary Anna Helena, Sophia Elizabeth Creasey and Mary Jane Edwards. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 in March 1879 in St Asaph, Flints.-
