Charles Cookson 
Charles was born on December 20th, 1807 in Woolwich, Kent. Charles' father was Charles Norris Cookson and his mother was Mary Margaret Weir. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cookson and Sarah Hull; his maternal grandparents were Thomas (William) Weir and Mary Yates. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Robert, Joseph Yates (COOKSON), George Yates, George James, Elizabeth Sarah, Mary Anna Helena, Sophia Elizabeth Creasey and Mary Jane Edwards. He was the youngest of the nine children.-
