Thomas Robert Cookson 
Thomas Robert was born on May 26th, 1791 in Port Royal, Jamaica. Thomas Robert's father was Charles Norris Cookson and his mother was Mary Margaret Weir. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cookson and Sarah Hull; his maternal grandparents were Thomas (William) Weir and Mary Yates. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Yates (COOKSON), George Yates, George James, Charles, Elizabeth Sarah, Mary Anna Helena, Sophia Elizabeth Creasey and Mary Jane Edwards. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 47 on May 18th, 1839 in Barbados, WI. He was buried in Barbados, WI.-
