Thomas Cookson

Thomas was born on April 14th, 1710 in Crewkerne, Somerset and his baptism took place on May 23rd, 1710.  Thomas' father was John Cookson and his mother was Dorothy Long.  His paternal grandparents were William Cookson and Elizabeth Whitfield. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Unknown, William, John, Joseph, Edward, Edith, Elizabeth, Anne and Dorothy.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 65 on November 13th, 1775 in Westminster, London.  He was buried in November 1775 in St Matthias, Poplar, London.
