William Cookson 
William was born on December 10th, 1706 in Crewkerne, Somerset and his baptism took place on December 17th, 1706. William's father was John Cookson and his mother was Dorothy Long. His paternal grandparents were William Cookson and Elizabeth Whitfield. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Unknown, John, Thomas, Joseph, Edward, Edith, Elizabeth, Anne and Dorothy. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 on January 21st, 1771 in Plymstock, Devon. He was buried in Plymstock, Devon.-
