Edith Cookson 
Edith was born on November 14th, 1701 in Crewkerne, Somerset and her baptism took place there on December 5th, 1701. Edith's father was John Cookson and her mother was Dorothy Long. Her paternal grandparents were William Cookson and Elizabeth Whitfield. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Unknown, William, John, Thomas, Joseph, Edward, Elizabeth, Anne and Dorothy. She was the oldest of the ten children.-
