Sarah Cookson

Sarah was born in December 1652 in Hadley, Shropshire and her baptism took place on December 18th, 1652 in Christ Church, Wellington, Shropshire.  Sarah's father was John Cookson and her mother was Jane Pekah.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Cookson and Catherine Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Matthewe, William, William, Edward, Humphrey, Jane, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth and Jane.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
