Edward Cookson

Edward was born in March 1661 in Hadley, Shropshire and his baptism took place on March 23rd, 1661 in Christ Church, Wellington, Shropshire.  Edward's father was John Cookson and his mother was Jane Pekah.  His paternal grandparents were Matthew Cookson and Catherine Unknown. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Matthewe, William, William, Humphrey, Jane, Margaret, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
