Margaret Cookson

Margaret was born in February 1645 in Wellington, Shropshire and her baptism took place on February 22nd, 1645 in Christ Church, Wellington, Shropshire.  Margaret's father was John Cookson and her mother was Jane Pekah.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Cookson and Catherine Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Matthewe, William, William, Edward, Humphrey, Jane, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and Jane.  She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
