Sarah Coates

Sarah was born in 1772 in Otley, Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on November 1st, 1772.  Sarah's father was William Coates and her mother was Elizabeth Petty.  Her paternal grandfather was Richard Coates. She had two brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Franceas, Ann, Sarah and Betty.  She was the youngest of the seven children.
