Ann Coates

Ann was born in 1768 in Otley, Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on March 13th, 1768.  Ann's father was William Coates and her mother was Elizabeth Petty.  Her paternal grandfather was Richard Coates. She had two brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Franceas, Sarah, Betty and Sarah.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
