Willie Butler

Willie was born in 1893 in Mexborough, Yorkshire.¹ Willie's father was Joseph Butler and his mother was Mary Braithwaite. His paternal grandparents were William Butler and Mary Arendall. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Harry, Sam, Isaac, John, Sarah, Ellen, Annie and Louie. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
