Annie Butler

Annie was born in 1894 in Mexborough, Yorkshire.¹ Annie's father was Joseph Butler and her mother was Mary Braithwaite. Her paternal grandparents were William Butler and Mary Arendall. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Sam, Isaac, Willie, John, Sarah, Ellen and Louie. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
