Louie Butler

Louie was born in 1898 in Mexborough, Yorkshire.¹ Louie's father was Joseph Butler and her mother was Mary Braithwaite. Her paternal grandparents were William Butler and Mary Arendall. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Sam, Isaac, Willie, John, Sarah, Ellen and Annie. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
