Ann Gibson 
Ann was born in 1836 in Friockheim, Angus, Scotland.1 Ann's father was James Gibson and her mother was Margaret Bruce Hardie. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Gibson and Isabella Greig; her maternal grandparents were James Hardie and Christian Thomson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David, William, James, Jean, Mary and Agnes. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
