Agnes Gibson 
Agnes was born in 1848 in Friockheim Mill Gate, Kirkden, Angus, Scotland.1 Agnes' father was James Gibson and her mother was Margaret Bruce Hardie. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Gibson and Isabella Greig; her maternal grandparents were James Hardie and Christian Thomson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named David, William, James, Ann, Jean and Mary. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 63 in 1911 in West Coast, New Zealand.-
