Eleanor de Courtenay 
Eleanor was born in 1269 in Oakhampton, Devonshire, England.1 Eleanor's father was Baron of Okehampton Hugh de Courtenay and her mother was Alinore le Despencer. Her paternal grandparents were Sir John de Courtenay and Isabelle De Vere. She had five brothers and six sisters, named 9th Earl of Devon Hugh, Philip, Thomas, John, Robert, Avelina, Margaret, Isabel, Egeline, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 39 in September 1308 in Codnor, Derbyshire, England.1 -
