Hannah Rettie was born on January 2nd, 1867 in Allerton, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 Hannah Rettie's father was Richard Shipley and her mother was Sarah Ann Fisher. Her paternal grandparents were Richard SHIPLEY and Henrietta HUGHES. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Johnnie W., Eddie, Ellen Jane, Lulla May and Etta Eliza. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Preston, Benjamin Rush, Reuben Richard, Joseph Douty, George, Nancy Ann, Sarah Elizabeth and Mary Susan. She died at the age of 62 on May 24th, 1929 in Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA. She was buried in Clio Cemetery, Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 -
