Ellen Jane Shipley 
Ellen Jane was born on July 2nd, 1865 in Eddyville, Mahaska County, Iowa, USA.1 Ellen Jane's father was Richard Shipley and her mother was Sarah Ann Fisher. Her paternal grandparents were Richard SHIPLEY and Henrietta HUGHES. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Johnnie W., Eddie, Hannah Rettie, Lulla May and Etta Eliza. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Preston, Benjamin Rush, Reuben Richard, Joseph Douty, George, Nancy Ann, Sarah Elizabeth and Mary Susan. She died at the age of 78 in February 1944 in Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Clio, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.2 1 -
