William Allen Roberts 
William Allen was born in 1837 in Rockingham Co, NC. William Allen's father was James Roberts and his mother was Mary Floyd. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had three brothers named Noah, Robert and Henry. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named George W., Michael F., John, Richard M., Daniel, James Dutch, Nebuchanezer, Martha and Mary.General Notes
