Troy Roberts 
Troy was born on August 1st, 1903 in Rockingham Co, NC. Troy's father was Lawrence E. 'Tosh' Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth 'Betty' Shreve. His paternal grandparents were Robert J. Roberts and Julia A. Webster. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas George, Elbert Lawrence, August, Harry, Leana, Julia Katherine, Eva, Nettie and Edna. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on October 1st, 1969 in Greensboro, Guilford Co, NC. He was buried on October 3rd, 1969 in Ellisboro Baptist Church Cemetery, Madison, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
