Julia Katherine was born on September 10th, 1894 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Julia Katherine's father was Lawrence E. 'Tosh' Roberts and her mother was Elizabeth 'Betty' Shreve. Her paternal grandparents were Robert J. Roberts and Julia A. Webster. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas George, Elbert Lawrence, Troy, August, Harry, Leana, Eva, Nettie and Edna. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 79 on February 1st, 1974 in Dobson, Surry Co, NC. She was buried on February 3rd, 1974 in Dobson City Cemetery, Dobson, Surry Co, NC.1 General Notes
