William Plumlee 
William was born on February 14th, 1826 in White Co, TN. William's father was Joel Plumlee Sr. and his mother was Rachel Simmons. His maternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Isaac C., John, Zachariah, Joel, Francis Marion, Charles Montgomery, Elizabeth, Nancy and Rachel. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 91 on March 6th, 1917 in Urbanette, Carroll Co, AR. He was buried in Blackjack Cemetery, Berryville, Carroll Co, AR.General Notes
