Francis Marion Plumlee 
Francis Marion was born on September 7th, 1839 in Carroll Co, AR. Francis Marion's father was Joel Plumlee Sr. and his mother was Rachel Simmons. His maternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Isaac C., William, John, Zachariah, Joel, Charles Montgomery, Elizabeth, Nancy and Rachel. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 83 on March 14th, 1923 in Oak Grove, Carroll Co, AR.General Notes
