Joel Plumlee Jr. 
Joel was born on May 28th, 1837 in Carroll Co, AR. Joel's father was Joel Plumlee Sr. and his mother was Rachel Simmons. His maternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Isaac C., William, John, Zachariah, Francis Marion, Charles Montgomery, Elizabeth, Nancy and Rachel. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 52 in 1889 in Carroll Co, AR.General Notes
