John Plumlee 
John was born on November 10th, 1831 in White Co, TN. John's father was Joel Plumlee Sr. and his mother was Rachel Simmons. His maternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Isaac C., William, Zachariah, Joel, Francis Marion, Charles Montgomery, Elizabeth, Nancy and Rachel. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 31 on March 2nd, 1863 in Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR.General Notes
