Martha Susan was born on April 11th, 1855 in Coryell Co, Texas, USA. Martha Susan's father was David Alexander Pinkerton and her mother was Rebecca Akin. Her maternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named John Franklin, Collin Akin, Alexander Steven, Leander, Mary Frances, Sarah E, Lucinda, Susan M, Rebecca Leona and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 80 on August 16th, 1935 in Haskell Co, Texas, USA. She was buried in Spur Cemetery, Spur, Dickens Co, Texas.-
