Leander Pinkerton 
Leander was born in 1846 in Lafayette Co, Arkansas, USA. Leander's father was David Alexander Pinkerton and her mother was Rebecca Akin. Her maternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named John Franklin, Collin Akin, Alexander Steven, Mary Frances, Sarah E, Lucinda, Martha Susan, Susan M, Rebecca Leona and Mary. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 4 in 1850.-
