Collin Akin Pinkerton 
Collin Akin was born on March 30th, 1857 in Hamilton Co, Texas, USA. Collin Akin's father was David Alexander Pinkerton and his mother was Rebecca Akin. His maternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John Franklin, Alexander Steven, Leander, Mary Frances, Sarah E, Lucinda, Martha Susan, Susan M, Rebecca Leona and Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 61 on January 27th, 1919 in Pinkerton, Haskell Co, Texas. He was buried in Pinkerton Cemetery, Near Rule.-
