John Franklin Pinkerton 
John Franklin was born on August 16th, 1854 in Gatesville, Coryell Co, Texas, USA. John Franklin's father was David Alexander Pinkerton and his mother was Rebecca Akin. His maternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Collin Akin, Alexander Steven, Leander, Mary Frances, Sarah E, Lucinda, Martha Susan, Susan M, Rebecca Leona and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on May 22nd, 1934 in Haskell Co, Texas, USA. He was buried in Willow Cemetery, Haskell, Haskell Co, Texas, USA.-
