Henderson W. Foster 
Henderson W. was born about 1828 in Davie County.1 Henderson W.'s father was Weldon " William" Goode Foster and his mother was Zilphia "Silpha" Jarvis. His paternal grandparents were Zenas G. Foster and Dinah Taylor. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Franklin "Francis", John H., Joseph Henry, Hannah, Mary Ann and Edith Edney. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died on August 24th, 1864 in Virginia. He was buried in August 1864 in Arlington Cemetery.2 -
