Alexander Foster 
Alexander was born in 1832 in Davie Co. North Carolina.1 Alexander's father was Weldon " William" Goode Foster and his mother was Zilphia "Silpha" Jarvis. His paternal grandparents were Zenas G. Foster and Dinah Taylor. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henderson W., Franklin "Francis", John H., Joseph Henry, Hannah, Mary Ann and Edith Edney. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
