Hannah Foster 
Hannah was born about 1837 in Davie County, North Carolina.1 Hannah's father was Weldon " William" Goode Foster and her mother was Zilphia "Silpha" Jarvis. Her paternal grandparents were Zenas G. Foster and Dinah Taylor. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henderson W., Alexander, Franklin "Francis", John H., Joseph Henry, Mary Ann and Edith Edney. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
