William Carter III

William was born on July 11th, 1578 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.¹ William's father was William Carter Jr. and his mother was Mary Anscell. His paternal grandparents were William Carter Sr. and Elizabeth Glover Cranfield; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Anscell and Elizabeth Wheatley.
