Ursula Carter

Ursula was born on June 20th, 1590 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.¹ Ursula's father was William Carter Jr. and her mother was Mary Anscell. Her paternal grandparents were William Carter Sr. and Elizabeth Glover Cranfield; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Anscell and Elizabeth Wheatley. She had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas, Nicholas, William, Oliver, William, Robert, John, William, Anne, Winifred, Mary, Amye, Elizabeth, Temperence, Anne and Alice. She was the sixth youngest of the seventeen children.
