Thomas Carter

Thomas was born on September 19th, 1575 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.¹ Thomas' father was William Carter Jr. and his mother was Mary Anscell. His paternal grandparents were William Carter Sr. and Elizabeth Glover Cranfield; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Anscell and Elizabeth Wheatley. He had seven brothers and nine sisters, named Nicholas, William, Oliver, William, Robert, John, William, Anne, Winifred, Mary, Amye, Elizabeth, Temperence, Anne, Ursula and Alice.
