Louis William Adair 
Louis William was born on December 12th, 1898 in Doyle, White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. Louis William's father was James Pleasant Adair and his mother was Mary Dora Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson 'Jack' Simmons and Canzantia A. 'Canzada' Stipe. He had four sisters named Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Russell Pleasant, James Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Charles Herbert, Vina Lee, Maude Lela, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine, Mattie Lee and Mary Ella. He died at the age of 71 in May 1970.General Notes
