Russell Pleasant Adair 
Russell Pleasant was born on January 2nd, 1908 in Doyle, White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Russell Pleasant's father was James Pleasant Adair and his mother was Crinner Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons. He had four brothers and six sisters, named James Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Charles Herbert, Vina Lee, Maude Lela, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine, Mattie Lee and Mary Ella. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Louis William, Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis. He died at the age of 76 in November 1984 in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co, TN.General Notes
