James Pleasant Adair Jr. 
James Pleasant was born on July 2nd, 1920 in Doyle, White Co, TN. James Pleasant's father was James Pleasant Adair and his mother was Crinner Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Russell Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Charles Herbert, Vina Lee, Maude Lela, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine, Mattie Lee and Mary Ella. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Louis William, Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis.General Notes
