Mary Adaline was born on October 28th, 1848 in McDonough Co, IL.1 Mary Adaline's father was George Washington Welch and her mother was Mary D. Caldwell. Her paternal grandparents were Osias Welch and Elizabeth Rowland; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Caldwell and Nancy Caldwell. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Elijah A., Elisha C., James M., David L., George S., Charles T., John H., William Joseph, Albert B., Amanda M., Nancy J., Sarah Isabell and Emma T.. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. She died at 10 months old on August 29th, 1849 in McDonough Co, IL.1 -
