Charles T. was born on November 24th, 1851 in McDonough Co, IL.1 Charles T.'s father was George Washington Welch and his mother was Mary D. Caldwell. His paternal grandparents were Osias Welch and Elizabeth Rowland; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Caldwell and Nancy Caldwell. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Elijah A., Elisha C., James M., David L., George S., John H., William Joseph, Albert B., Amanda M., Nancy J., Mary Adaline, Sarah Isabell and Emma T.. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at 9 months old on September 23rd, 1852 in McDonough Co, IL.1 -
