Laura Jane was born in 1873 in Texas, US.1 Laura Jane's father was John Franklin Smith and her mother was Sarah E. Reep. Her paternal grandparents were James Smith and Jane Marcum. She had three brothers and a sister, named Marcus Allen, Phillip Lafayette, William Cephus and Emma F.. She was the youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Marion Franklin, John Harold, Mary Permelia, Nellie Frances, Hattie Jeanette and Lillie. She died at the age of 78 on February 3rd, 1951 in Manhatten Beach, Los Angeles, CA.1 -
