Marie Salomee Metivier 
Marie Salomee was born on March 29th, 1817 in St. Jean, Quebec, Canada.1 Marie Salomee's father was Louis Gedeon Metivier and her mother was Marie Louise Giroux. Her paternal grandparents were Jacques Metivier and Marie Catherine Minville; her maternal grandparents were Basile Giroux and Marie Louise Brosseau. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Basile, Francois, Medard, Louis Gedeon, Baptiste Moise, Marie Angelique, Elenore, Clotilde, Julienne, Marguerite and Marie Louise. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She had a half-sister named Mary Elizabeth.1 -
