Marie Louise Metivier 
Marie Louise was born on December 23rd, 1825 in St. Jean, Quebec, Canada.1 Marie Louise's father was Louis Gedeon Metivier and her mother was Marie Louise Giroux. Her paternal grandparents were Jacques Metivier and Marie Catherine Minville; her maternal grandparents were Basile Giroux and Marie Louise Brosseau. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Basile, Francois, Medard, Louis Gedeon, Baptiste Moise, Marie Angelique, Elenore, Clotilde, Marie Salomee, Julienne and Marguerite. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She had a half-sister named Mary Elizabeth.1 -
