Louis Gedeon Metivier 
Louis Gedeon was born on May 10th, 1820 in L Acadie, St. Jean, Quebec, Canada.1 Louis Gedeon's father was Louis Gedeon Metivier and his mother was Marie Louise Giroux. His paternal grandparents were Jacques Metivier and Marie Catherine Minville; his maternal grandparents were Basile Giroux and Marie Louise Brosseau. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Basile, Francois, Medard, Baptiste Moise, Marie Angelique, Elenore, Clotilde, Marie Salomee, Julienne, Marguerite and Marie Louise. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-sister named Mary Elizabeth.1 -
